Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail and packages efficiently before delivery.
- Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the public to ensure satisfaction.
- Collect and process payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) items.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and ensure safe driving practices.
- Adhere to all postal safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Manage the Postal Service vehicle and route planning effectively.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Physically capable of walking, standing, and bending for extended periods.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
