Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Sort, arrange, and sequence mail according to delivery sequences
- Collect postage due fees and maintain proper accountability for postal funds
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform minor preventative maintenance
- Adhere to USPS safety regulations and operational procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to walk up to 8 hours daily in various weather conditions
