Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Operate USPS-provided delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences
- Collect outgoing mail and postage payments from customers
- Report delivery issues, damaged mail, or suspicious activity
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer interactions
- Operate handheld scanning devices for package tracking
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly and walk extended distances
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Reliability and punctuality for daily route completion
- Customer service skills for community interactions
- Ability to work outdoors in Colorado weather conditions
