Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned route
- Sort and organize mail in preparation for efficient delivery
- Operate delivery vehicle safely while adhering to traffic regulations
- Collect outgoing mail from mailboxes and collection points
- Interact professionally with customers while providing postal services
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required documentation
- Operate scanning devices to track package movements
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Basic computer literacy for USPS technology systems
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong customer service orientation
