Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages safely and efficiently on assigned urban route
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles including trucks and motorized carts responsibly
- Collect outgoing mail from residential and business mailboxes
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
- Provide courteous customer service during deliveries and route inquiries
- Perform route adjustments during peak mail seasons and holidays
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
