Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels along assigned routes using USPS-provided vehicles
- Sort and organize mail in correct sequence for efficient delivery
- Collect outgoing mail and packages from customers
- Operate delivery equipment safely and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Complete required forms and documentation accurately
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery inquiries
- Adhere to USPS safety policies and procedures
- Assist with mail processing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Reliable transportation to reporting location
