Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws
- Collect postage and fees for special services as required
- Report delivery irregularities and maintain accurate records
- Assist with mail processing duties at the local facility
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods in varying weather
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
