Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along an assigned city route
- Sort and organize mail efficiently before daily deliveries
- Operate mail vehicles safely and maintain proper documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and businesses
- Report maintenance issues for vehicles and delivery equipment
- Adhere to USPS safety policies and procedures
- Assist with other postal duties as assigned
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
