Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to USPS procedures
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions at delivery points
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities
- Operate and maintain delivery equipment (e.g., scanners, carts)
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and operational guidelines
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and walk extended distances
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
