Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Operate USPS vehicles safely and efficiently following traffic laws
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences and regulations
- Collect postage due, certified mail, and return receipts when required
- Report mail irregularities, damaged parcels, and customer concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete daily paperwork
- Adhere to all USPS safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with valid US citizenship or permanent residency
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record (2+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems and digital forms
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
