Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages efficiently along assigned urban and suburban routes
- Sort and organize mail in accordance with USPS regulations and delivery standards
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and route schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with residents and businesses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities or hazards
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with postal clerks and supervisors to resolve delivery issues
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident alien status
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned postal facility
