Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along an assigned route
- Sort and organize mail in the correct sequence for efficient delivery
- Operate a delivery vehicle safely and follow all traffic regulations
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Report any delivery issues or customer concerns to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and handle customer inquiries
- Assist in other postal duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 70 lbs) and walk long distances
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
