Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages along designated routes efficiently
- Operate USPS vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service while collecting mail and parcels
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and USPS operational standards
- Manage mail volume using automated equipment and manual sorting
- Report maintenance issues for delivery vehicles and equipment
- Assist in processing and distributing incoming/outgoing mail
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and walk extended distances
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
