Responsibilities
- Sort and deliver mail efficiently and accurately according to established routes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the residents of Oakland, CA.
- Sort packages and heavy parcels, including lifting up to 70 lbs as needed.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices to track mail status and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform physical activities such as walking, standing, and bending for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record (for carrier roles).
- Pass the USPS entrance exam and background check.
- Ability to pass a drug test and physical fitness assessment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
