Responsibilities
- Sort and process mail and packages efficiently according to delivery routes.
- Deliver mail to residential and business addresses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the public at every stop.
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Handle cash and postage fees accurately and handle customer inquiries.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Manage physical workload, including lifting packages and walking long distances.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- U.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent resident status is required.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, often outdoors.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and medical examination.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
