Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and self-care management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New Mexico.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience with electronic health record systems (e.g., CPRS, VistA).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
