- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and VA policies
- Process urgent claims within established timelines
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- GS-9 level experience in claims processing or related field
- Proficiency with VA claims processing systems (VBMS, BIRLS)
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive veteran information with discretion
- Experience with federal regulations (38 CFR)
- Valid Arizona driver's license (if travel required)
