Responsibilities
- Process veterans' disability and pension claims with 99.5% accuracy
- Review medical records and supporting documentation for completeness
- Utilize VBMS (Veterans Benefits Management System) for case management
- Communicate with veterans and stakeholders regarding claim status
- Adhere to federal regulations and VA procedural guidelines
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of processed claims
- Maintain detailed case documentation in compliance with federal standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative processing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to pass federal background check and drug screening
- Experience with veteran service organizations preferred
