Responsibilities
- Delicate direct patient care in medical-surgical units
- Administer medications and treatments per VA protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Educate patients/families on health management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to VA safety and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska
- Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- 1+ years acute care experience
- VA healthcare familiarity advantageous
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
- US Citizenship required
