Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit claims and appeals with 98% accuracy
- Coordinate healthcare access and mental health resources for veterans
- Conduct eligibility assessments for VA programs and services
- Collaborate with community partners to expand veteran support networks
- Maintain confidential case files in compliance with federal regulations
- Provide crisis intervention for veterans in urgent need of assistance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years experience in veteran services or federal program administration
- VA-accredited claims agent certification preferred
- Proficiency in VA VBA and VISTA systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Strong conflict resolution and crisis management skills
- US citizenship required
