Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit programs including compensation and pension claims
- Analyze data to improve service delivery metrics and veteran satisfaction
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community partners for veteran support
- Develop outreach initiatives to connect eligible veterans with VA services
- Maintain accurate records using VA-specific information systems
- Provide guidance to veterans and their families on available resources
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex veteran needs
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum one year of specialized experience at GS-5 level
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal veterans' benefits programs
- Experience with data analysis and reporting systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
