Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to veterans in acute and ambulatory settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Administer medications and perform clinical procedures per VA protocols
- Document patient encounters using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention
- Maintain compliance with federal healthcare regulations and quality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience
- CPR certification and ACLS/BLS credentials
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA privileging
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- U.S. citizenship required for federal employment
