Responsibilities
- Delicate direct patient care in medical/surgical units and specialized clinics
- Administer medications and treatments per VA protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Document patient encounters in electronic health records accurately
- Educate veterans and families on health management strategies
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to VA and Joint Commission standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Veterans healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- U.S. citizenship required
