Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' benefit claims with 98% accuracy
- Conduct eligibility assessments for VA healthcare programs
- Collaborate with medical teams to coordinate veteran care plans
- Maintain secure documentation in VA systems (VBA/VHA)
- Provide case management for high-complexity veterans' cases
- Train junior staff on VA regulations and procedures
- Generate monthly performance reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare, or related field
- 3+ years experience in veterans services or federal benefits
- VA Form 22-1995 (Application for Benefits) proficiency
- Knowledge of 38 CFR regulations and VBA guidelines
- Clearance: Moderate Risk (NACI) required
- Proficiency in VA-specific software (VBMS, VISTA)
- Ability to handle sensitive veteran information with discretion
