Responsibilities
- Manage veteran healthcare enrollment and benefits coordination
- Conduct eligibility screenings for VA healthcare programs
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans
- Maintain accurate veteran records in federal databases
- Provide education on VA benefits and resources to veterans
- Address inquiries and resolve issues related to veteran services
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for veteran care
- Ensure compliance with federal healthcare regulations and policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in veteran services or healthcare coordination
- Proficiency with federal healthcare systems (e.g., VistA, CPRS)
- Strong knowledge of VA benefits programs and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive veteran information with confidentiality
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Experience with case management and customer service best practices
