Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with 99% accuracy and within 24-hour turnaround
- Conduct eligibility assessments for VA healthcare and disability compensation
- Coordinate with medical providers and legal teams to resolve complex cases
- Maintain confidential records in compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA/VA)
- Train veteran families on available resources and benefits
- Collaborate with community organizations for veteran outreach programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- 2+ years of federal or VA experience preferred
- VA certification (VACIS) or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse populations
