Responsibilities
- Coordinate veteran benefit applications and ensure timely processing of VA claims
- Provide personalized case management for veterans navigating complex healthcare and housing systems
- Collaborate with community partners to connect veterans with local resources and employment opportunities
- Maintain accurate documentation in VA case management systems while adhering to federal regulations
- Conduct outreach programs to educate veterans on available benefits and services
- Advocate for veterans' needs across multiple VA departments and external agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of case management or veteran services experience
- Proficiency with federal benefits systems (e.g., VBMS, VBA)
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Strong knowledge of VA benefits programs and military culture
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
