Responsibilities
- Coordinate veteran healthcare benefits and claims processing
- Conduct eligibility assessments for VA programs and services
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive care plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support services to veterans and families
- Utilize electronic health records systems to maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in community outreach and veteran education initiatives
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations and privacy laws
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in veteran services or healthcare coordination
- Proficiency with VA healthcare systems (VistA, CPRS)
- VA or federal experience strongly preferred
- Valid state driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Excellent communication and crisis management skills
- Certification in Veteran Services (CVS) or equivalent
