Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit applications and claims with 98% accuracy
- Conduct eligibility assessments for VA healthcare programs
- Coordinate with medical providers for veteran care coordination
- Process disability compensation claims within 14-day SLA
- Maintain confidential veteran records in VA systems
- Provide crisis intervention for urgent veteran situations
- Train new staff on VA regulations and procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years in veteran services or federal case management
- Active VA certification or equivalent federal credentials
- Expert knowledge of 38 CFR regulations
- Proficient in VBA and VISTA systems
- Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with veteran mental health resources
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
