Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit applications and claims processing with 100% accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate veteran care services
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations and VA policies
- Conduct eligibility assessments for VA programs and benefits
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports for leadership review
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to educate veterans on available services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in veterans services or federal programs
- Proficiency in VA claims processing systems (e.g., VBMS, VBA)
- Strong knowledge of federal benefits regulations (38 CFR)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with case management software and documentation systems
