Responsibilities
- Review and adjudicate veterans' disability claims with 100% accuracy
- Analyze medical records and service documentation to determine benefit eligibility
- Communicate claim decisions clearly to veterans and their representatives
- Utilize VA systems (VBMS, VBA) for documentation and case management
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations and privacy laws
- Collaborate with medical professionals and legal advisors
- Process urgent claims within mandated timelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field
- 2+ years experience in claims processing or federal benefits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems
- VA experience strongly preferred (VBMS/VBA certification a plus)
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive veteran information with discretion
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
