- Manage and maintain electronic health record systems (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and VA regulations
- Oversee health information coding accuracy and quality assurance processes
- Develop and implement data integrity protocols for veteran health records
- Coordinate with clinical teams to resolve complex health information challenges
- Lead system upgrades and process improvements for health information workflows
- Ensure compliance with federal healthcare privacy and security standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
- RHIA or RHIT certification required
- Minimum 3 years of EHR system management experience
- Proficiency in VA VistA or similar federal health IT systems
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare information security regulations
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
