Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' compensation, pension, and healthcare benefit claims
- Provide expert guidance on VA programs including disability ratings, education benefits, and home loans
- Conduct comprehensive interviews to assess veterans' eligibility for federal benefits
- Collaborate with medical professionals to develop accurate disability evaluation reports
- Manage complex case files ensuring compliance with federal regulations and policies
- Deliver exceptional customer service through in-person, virtual, and telehealth interactions
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in federal benefit programs (VA, SSA, DoD) and regulations
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse populations including veterans and families
- Experience with case management systems and documentation standards
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities for complex benefit eligibility cases
