Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate complex VA disability claims with precision and empathy
- Provide comprehensive benefit counseling to veterans and their families
- Develop and maintain accurate case documentation in federal systems
- Collaborate with medical professionals to gather supporting evidence
- Represent the VA in appeals hearings and administrative proceedings
- Conduct outreach to underserved veteran communities
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations and VA policies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in benefits administration or veterans services
- Advanced knowledge of Title 38 U.S. Code regulations
- Professional certification in Veterans Services preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
- Proficiency in VA claims processing systems (VBMS, VBA)
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
