Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' compensation and pension claims with 99% accuracy
- Conduct comprehensive benefit eligibility interviews and document assessments
- Collaborate with medical/legal teams to resolve complex benefit cases
- Develop and implement personalized benefits plans for veterans and families
- Maintain meticulous case records ensuring full compliance with federal regulations
- Provide expert guidance on VA programs, healthcare options, and survivor benefits
- Analyze claim data to identify systemic process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in benefits administration or veterans services
- Expert knowledge of VA regulations (38 CFR) and federal compliance protocols
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex medical/legal documents
- Proven ability to manage high-volume caseloads with competing deadlines
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
