Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate VA disability compensation claims with 95% accuracy
- Conduct comprehensive veteran benefit interviews via phone/in-person
- Analyze medical records and service treatment records for claim support
- Prepare detailed decision documents with legal/regulatory justification
- Collaborate with VA medical centers and community partners
- Maintain strict compliance with 38 CFR and VA directives
- Train junior representatives on complex case adjudication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience
- VA adjudication experience preferred
- Proficiency in VA claims processing systems (VBMS, VBA)
- Knowledge of 38 CFR and federal benefit regulations
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive veteran information with confidentiality
- U.S. citizenship required
- Security clearance eligibility
