Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' disability compensation claims with 95% accuracy
- Conduct face-to-face interviews to gather claim evidence and medical documentation
- Utilize VA systems (VBMS, VBAS) to update case statuses and maintain records
- Provide clear benefit explanations to veterans and family members
- Collaborate with medical staff and legal advisors to resolve complex cases
- Meet monthly productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, or related field
- 2+ years experience in veteran services or healthcare claims processing
- Proficiency with VA systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- VA-accredited representative certification preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive veteran information with HIPAA compliance
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish (highly desired)
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
