Join the VA's mission to serve our nation's heroes immediately! We're seeking a dedicated Veterans Service Representative to assist veterans with benefits claims and healthcare enrollment. This is a temporary position with full federal benefits and rapid onboarding process. Work directly with veterans in Tucson to ensure they receive the support they've earned.
Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate VA benefits claims with 100% accuracy
- Provide in-person and virtual assistance to veterans and family members
- Utilize VA systems (VBMS, VBA) to manage case documentation
- Conduct eligibility assessments for healthcare and disability benefits
- Collaborate with medical and legal teams on complex cases
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations
Qualifications
- US citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Experience with government claims processing or customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
- Strong communication skills with diverse populations
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Valid Arizona driver's license (for travel to VA facilities)
