Responsibilities
- Review and process veterans' disability compensation and pension claims
- Provide expert guidance on VA benefits programs via phone, email, and virtual platforms
- Maintain accurate case documentation in federal systems (e.g., VBA)
- Collaborate with medical professionals and legal teams to support complex cases
- Conduct eligibility assessments for education, healthcare, and housing benefits
- Comply with all federal regulations and privacy standards (HIPAA, FERPA)
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background investigation
- Minimum 2 years customer service or claims processing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of VA benefits programs preferred (training provided)
- Experience with remote work tools and virtual collaboration platforms
