Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility protocols
- Conduct regular security checks and headcounts
- Respond to emergencies and incidents per department procedures
- Document daily logs and incident reports accurately
- Screen visitors and packages according to regulations
- Assist in transportation of inmates as needed
- Maintain professionalism during all interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Citizenship or legal residency status
