Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and maintain secure facility operations during weekend shifts
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections to enforce safety protocols
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with de-escalation techniques
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during weekend operations
- Train and mentor new correctional staff on weekend procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or corrections required
- Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
