Responsibilities
- Ensure facility security through systematic monitoring and perimeter checks
- Suppose inmate activities and enforce institutional regulations
- Conduct thorough searches and safety inspections
- Document incidents and maintain accurate logs per state protocols
- Respond to emergencies with calm professionalism and teamwork
- Transport inmates securely between facilities
- Participate in continuous training programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and physical fitness assessment
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- No felony convictions
- Basic computer literacy
