Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise incarcerated individuals during weekend shifts, ensuring facility security and compliance with regulations
- Conduct regular security inspections, headcounts, and incident reporting
- Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and medical situations with appropriate protocols
- Document daily activities, incidents, and behavioral observations in digital systems
- Facilitate visitation, transportation, and rehabilitation programs on weekends
- Maintain accurate records of property, contraband, and facility inventory
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and physical fitness assessment
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong communication skills and crisis de-escalation abilities
- Experience in law enforcement, corrections, or security field (preferred)
- Ability to work independently in high-stress weekend environments
