Responsibilities
- Provide Exceptional Customer Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for walk-in and phone inquiries, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
- Weekend Operations: Manage office operations during weekend shifts, including opening/closing procedures, security protocols, and queue management.
- Data Entry & Records Management: Accurately input and maintain sensitive citizen data into state databases and filing systems.
- Service Delivery: Assist the public with form processing, document verification, and navigating state agency resources.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and escalate complex issues to senior staff while providing immediate solutions to routine inquiries.
- Office Maintenance: Ensure the reception area is welcoming, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a government or high-volume call center environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM software is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Integrity: Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
