Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily operations during weekend shifts to ensure seamless service delivery for Veterans and their families.
- Process and review incoming applications, claims, and documentation with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Respond to inquiries from the public and internal stakeholders regarding federal programs and eligibility requirements.
- Collaborate with weekday staff to ensure proper handover of ongoing projects and critical information.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, agency policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Prepare weekly reports on operational metrics and submit them to regional management.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative operations, customer service, or a related field within a government or public sector environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with case management software.
- Ability to work a rotating weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex policies to diverse audiences.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain a suitable federal security clearance.
