Responsibilities
- Process and Review Applications: Accurately review, validate, and process incoming federal applications and documents in compliance with established regulations.
- Constituent Assistance: Provide exceptional service to the public by answering inquiries regarding federal programs, benefits, and procedures in a professional and timely manner.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date electronic and physical records of all departmental activities and personnel files.
- Office Administration: Perform general clerical duties including data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and coordinating inter-departmental communications.
- Compliance & Reporting: Assist in the preparation of reports, statistical analyses, and ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident eligible for citizenship.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or a government-related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database management systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Background Check: Must successfully pass a criminal background check and security clearance verification.
