Responsibilities
- Monitor park premises to ensure visitor compliance with safety regulations and park policies
- Conduct routine patrols and respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and visitor inquiries
- Enforce park rules while providing courteous public education and conflict resolution
- Collaborate with law enforcement during critical incidents and coordinate emergency responses
- Document daily activities, incident reports, and maintenance needs using digital systems
- Assist with crowd management during weekend events and peak visitor hours
- Maintain communication with dispatch and park management teams via radio systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) with rotating schedules
- Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Experience in public safety, security, or customer service roles
- Strong communication skills with ability to de-escalate tense situations
- Physical ability to walk extended distances and operate in various weather conditions
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States
