Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city areas during weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) to prevent crime and enforce ordinances
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to emergency calls within 15-minute response time
- Document incidents using CAD systems and prepare detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement during critical incidents and public events
- Conduct safety inspections of municipal properties and infrastructure
- Provide community outreach and education on weekend safety protocols
Qualifications
- Michigan Basic Police Academy certification or equivalent security credentials
- Minimum 2 years of public safety or law enforcement experience
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday 6PM-6AM)
- Proficiency in incident reporting software and surveillance systems
- Emergency First Aid/CPR certification
- U.S. citizenship and clean background check
