Responsibilities
- Process citizen inquiries and service requests across multiple departments during weekend shifts
- Manage public counters for permits, licenses, and vital records documentation
- Coordinate emergency response communications during weekend operations
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records using county systems
- Facilitate community outreach programs and weekend informational events
- Collaborate with on-call supervisors for escalated issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years customer service or public sector experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and county databases
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible weekends including holidays
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish highly desirable
- Successful background clearance including fingerprinting
- CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
