As a Weekend Remote Representative, you will be the first point of contact for citizens requiring assistance with state services. Your role is critical in maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency during our peak weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume phone and email inquiries from citizens and stakeholders regarding state programs and services.
- Process and update official government records and case files with a high degree of accuracy and strict confidentiality.
- Resolve complex service requests and escalate issues to appropriate departmental teams when necessary.
- Maintain a professional, empathetic demeanor while addressing sensitive citizen inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and agency regulations regarding data privacy and weekend operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline service delivery and improve citizen satisfaction.
- Perform data entry and generate weekly reports on service volume and trends.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, call center operations, or government administration is highly desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and government case management software.
- Strong typing speed (minimum 40 WPM) with excellent grammar and spelling.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting without direct supervision.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace are mandatory.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotational schedule.
